Digital Marketing Assistant
Full Time

We are looking for a proactive, creative, ambitious person to join our award winning company which includes a boutique hotel and independent travel company. The role will involve producing daily content for a wide variety of online/social media channels as well as website content management.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Writing and editing content for online use including social media
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and updating website
- Measuring the performance of digital marketing (using tools such as Google Analytics)
- Assisting with Email Marketing
- Assisting with the production of marketing materials and literature
- Managing online availability/bookings through own website and 3rd party agents
- Potential for involvement in web design/development

The ideal candidate will have excellent copy writing skills and an eye for detail. Basic SEO knowledge and good IT skills (Microsoft programmes essential, knowledge of Adobe programmes, email marketing platforms, web analytical tools all useful). Professional use of social media platforms would be advantageous but a natural interest could be nurtured. Must be flexible in your approach and able to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines and prioritise effectively.

Accounts Manager
Full Time

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Accounts Manager to join our busy finance team of our award winning varied group of companies. Working alongside our current Accounts Manager you will each control sets of accounts and be jointly responsible for a team of eight so the ability to work well with others is essential.

Key Responsibilities will include:
- Monthly management accounts
- Sales forecasts and budgets
- Management of general, debtors and creditors ledgers
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing year end accounts and financial statements
- Overseeing end of year financial audits
- Data analysing using a variety of software programmes

The ideal candidate will have previous Accounts Management experience and be AAT qualified with excellent IT skills including Excel and Sage. Experience of management accounts and reporting, strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail and analytical skills are essential. A flexible working approach and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines are a must for this role. Experience within Property, Travel or the Hospitality Sector would be advantageous.

Accounts Assistant

Morgans Group in Swansea is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work within its busy, expanding finance team currently located in Swansea City centre. The Morgans Group includes Travel House, the largest independent travel agent in Wales, Morgans Hotel and a large property portfolio. This is a hands on role and as such you will be expected to get involved in all areas and functions of the business.

Both full time and part time applicants will be considered, salary is commensurate with experience. If you feel that you have the skills and abilities required for this role, please forward your CV for consideration.

Responsibilities include:
- Reconciliation of bank and cash accounts
- Sales and purchase ledger processing
- Credit control
- VAT returns
- General ledger processing and reconciliation
- Prepayments and accruals journal posting
- Preparing inter-company reconciliations
- Drafting managements accounts to TB level
- Assisting with external audits
- Production of weekly and ad hoc MI

Skills required:
- Good administrative and IT skills
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail
- Experience in a busy office environment
- Understanding of double entry book-keeping
- Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with customers, colleagues and external contacts
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, especially Excel
- Knowledge of Sage 50 would be advantageous
