Travel House Product Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a Product Manager, who will be responsible for creating dynamically packaged holidays to be sold through the entire Travel House network. Monitoring demand and driving sales as well as negotiating tactical commercial deals and overrides with key suppliers. Ensuring that all Travel House holidays are compliant with legislation and company procedures is also an important aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience of packaging holidays together in a tour operating environment or dynamic packaging at agency level.

You will have vast experience in the travel industry, it would help to have a sales background and you may have managed at shop level. You will have a proven track record of managing people with a minimal amount of support and be very organised in your approach.

The Product Manager will also be expected to motivate staff and drive sales both within our Call Centre and remotely to our retail branches. You will work closely with Marketing to promote the product that you create.

An ability to solve problems is essential as is a can-do attitude. Communication is key as you may be required to remotely resolve an issue overseas. You will need a firm but fair attitude and will on occasion need to deal with disputes or customer complaints.

A fresh approach and openness to new ideas is needed as you will be expected to help launch new initiatives. This is a fast growing area of the business which requires flexibility and drive.

Full-time & Part Time Travel Consultants

Travel House is Wales' largest independent travel agency and we have Travel Consultant positions available in our Llanelli, Swansea, Neath & Aberdare branches.

Providing excellent customer service and sales engagement, you will be dealing with both direct customers and assisting our retail network in securing our customers their dream holiday. You will be an expert in you field. Working in a fast paced environment and will need to have the ability to promote and recommend travel destinations, ensuring that the customer's needs and considerations are taken into account at all times.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will have the opportunity to maximise sales through promotion of the Company's extensive range of travel products.

Previous experience in this field is required.

- Extensive industry knowledge, Ideally from a travel sales background
- Attention to detail
- Customer focused
- Used to working in a target driven environment
- Have the ability to learn & display excellent product knowledge of the products that we have on offer
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Good IT Skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Pleasant and approachable
