I returned to the travel industry in October 2012 after a few years pursuing an alternative career. I also organise a number of coach tours from the Pontardawe office which include theatre shows at the Millennium Center Cardiff. I have a great deal of knowledge on many destinations and look forward to helping you find your perfect holiday.

I started in The Travel House as a modern apprentice in Swansea straight from school and have been here ever since!

My most memorable holiday has to be my honeymoon in New York. We stayed at the Edison Hotel on Times Square which I would highly recommend. It is an art deco hotel but has just been upgraded so offers you the old feel of New York with updated rooms. It is also extremely central, directly on Time Square, and walking distance to most attractions.

My main tips for NYC would be to make a plan before you go of what you want to see and pre book all your excursions before travel which will save you time and most importantly money! The open top buses are a must especially if you have never been before as they get you to all the major attractions along with a tour guide. Also I would recommend pre booking your transfers to and from the airport as it is cheaper than the taxis which are approximately $60 including a tip. There is a great bar called Hurleys on Times Square which is run by a lovely Irish lady that offers good meals, bar snacks and drinks at a good price for that area. I have also travelled to New York as part of a educational visit and I have visited most hotels so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
